Joseph E. Reed, “The One Man Orchestra”, specializes in creating exciting, multi-layered musical arrangements on the spot. Joseph combines violin, guitar and other instruments using the Boomerang looper pedal and an effects pedal.

Joseph Reed’s workshop breaks down and walks participants through the creative process of creating a musical piece with me on the spot. He will explain his thought process and show participants from start to finish how he creates a song. Participants will be invited to join in the creation. A few instruments will be provided but all are welcome to bring their own percussion instruments, use their voices, hands and feet, or other objects found in nature.

About the Artist
Joseph E. Reed, “The One Man Orchestra” specializes in creating exciting, multi-layered musical arrangements on the spot. Joseph combines violin,
guitar and other instruments using the Boomerang looper pedal and an effects pedal.
Joseph performs for special events (weddings, serenades, celebrations), community functions (local farmer’s markets, cultural festivals), churches,
schools and business conferences. Joseph started playing violin at age 8 and played in school and community orchestras throughout his school years. Later he studied vocal and instrumental Music Education at Colorado State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music (2001).
Joseph has served as a middle school music teacher, choral director, and private lessons instructor for over 20 years. His music education company,
Music Unlimited LLC, takes a unique, creative and playful approach to learning.
Joseph is a recognized musician, educator, published author, and spoken word artist.
