Kudzu Playhouse Presents: A Christmas Carol

Kudzu Playhouse continues their tradition of bringing “A Christmas Carol” to Roswell’s Bulloch Hall. Once again, you will be up close and personal with the actors in this intimate 45-seat setting.

In this holiday favorite, Charles Dickens shows us Ebenezer Scrooge as he falls asleep in his dingy, cold quarters on Christmas Eve. A traditional holiday classic for the entire family, guaranteed to fill you with the Christmas spirit and warm your heart.

Tickets are $20* per person (*includes a $2 service fee). Doors open 30 minutes before showtime; seating is first-come, first-served. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

The Bridesmaid of Barrington Hall

Barrington Hall will host The Bridesmaid of Barrington Hall, an original work by playwright Beverly Trader Austin, depicting the 1923 interview between Atlanta’s own Margaret Mitchell and the matriarch of Barrington Hall, Catherine Evelyn “Eva” King Baker.

This original script will be performed by local actress Holly Stevenson in a one-woman dramatization of the interview. At that time, Margaret Mitchell was a reporter for The Atlanta Journal, and the interview was a featured story in the Sunday Magazine.

Following the performance, refreshments will be provided in the warming kitchen along with a tour of the seasonally decorated historic home.

Seating is limited and reservations are required. For tickets and additional information, call 770-640-3855.
