Megan Wargula is a self-proclaimed “dog nerd” – the kind of person who knows the dogs in her neighborhood better than their humans! A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Megan has always loved animals and has made it her mission to make the world a better place for dogs through her writing. In addition to the Riley Carson Series, Megan designs t-shirts, accessories, and gifts for dog lovers under her brand, Hound and Thistle. In 2020, Megan and her husband, Michael, started a podcast/YouTube show called Dog Nerd Show where they talk all things dog! The inspiration for all of this are their dogs, Finlay and Riley (pictured). Megan is a fan of history and the paranormal which is part of the reason she loves the town of Roswell, Georgia so much.
